After speaking to a class of students from Baylor University, I was asked to elaborate on the idea of multiplying talent. This is an idea I talk quite a bit about, and understandably, it is a different thought and concept. Multiplying talent, simply stated, is the center of what we do. The theme of multiplying talent drives us, and people we work with.
Envision this: it’s you at 90 years old, and you just died. You have lived a full life. There you are at the end of your life and you are asked the question, Ok…..how did you do? What did you do with it? What did you do with what God gave you? Did you sit on it, apologize for it, or did you take it and run with it, wrestle it, fight for it, and grow it? I love to multiplying talent. It is my mission and mantra as the center of the ripcord companies. Very lofty, almost impossible you say? You know what? You are right, but that doesn’t change the mission.
