Hi and welcome to my blog, where I talk about the things that I find compelling and interesting. Both within the Ripcord companies,  and in the areas of  entrepreneurship, entertainment, technology, and leadership.  The Creative Catalyst blog will be a repository for my best thinking. It’s my intention to share ideas we have everyday with the artists, writers, authors, and technology here at Ripcord Entertainment.

I am founder and entrepreneur-in-residence at Ripcord Entertainment, in Nashville, but first a little history. I began my career as a songwriter at Sony Tree Publishing, writing and producing songs while a student at Belmont University in the early 90′s. I started my own production company, Paradiso Music Productions, producing records for artists from all over the world. In 2003, we received an American Music Award. Paradiso soon grew into a tribe of 6 staff writers at  Ripcord Publishing Company.  In 2006, we partnered in a joint venture with Garth Brook’s company, yielding a song/video of the year nomination. In 2007, a literary division was built out, withthe Fear Killer as the first book release. I love launching compelling artists, companies and brands that have vision, meaning, and purpose.

My mission is to multiply talent. We do that through music, songs, books, events, and leading others.
